1⃣ शरद पूनम के दिन चन्द्रमा की चाँदनी में विशेष हितकारी रस, हितकारी किरणें होती हैं ।
2⃣ चन्द्रमा की चाँदनी गर्भवती महिला की नाभि पर पड़े तो गर्भ पुष्ट होता है । शरद पूनम की चाँदनी का अपना महत्त्व है लेकिन बारहों महीने चन्द्रमा की चाँदनी गर्भ को और औषधियों को पुष्ट करती है ।
4⃣शरद पूर्णिमा को चन्द्रमा के विशेष प्रभाव से तन तंदुरुस्त, मन प्रसन्न और बुद्धि का विकास होता है
5⃣ इस दिन गर्भवती माता को समंदर के किनारे पर पूर्णिमाकी रात को सुखी रेत पर चलना चाहिए.उससे समंदर की आवाज सुनने से बालक गंभीर बनता है,चंद्रमा को देखने से वह शांत स्वभाव का होता है एवं नरम रेत पर चलने बालक शीतल स्वभाव वाला होता है.
